AUTHOR: William T. McCroden served in the U.S. Coast Guard during the Vietnam era, has an associate's degree, and now works for the Department of Veterans Affairs. William spent decades researching the orders of battle of the German armed forces in World War II. Thomas E. Nutter recently retired after practising intellectual property law for more than 30 years. He also holds master's and doctorate degrees in military history and devotes most of his time to researching and writing about Germany and the German armed forces.
